Family photos

I met Jacqui & Louis over three years ago when I did a maternity shoot for them in Melbourne. I later shot their wedding here in Byron Bay. I met up with them again for some family photos with their beautiful daughter and very happy little baby son. As with quite a few other people that I have photographed in the past, I feel like I have become their official family photographer!

We just had the remnants of Cyclone Debbie a day or two before – many surrounding towns were flooded. With the heavy wind and left over rain, there was a strong possibility that we wouldn’t be able to do the shoot. Then the day came, and despite a strong breeze, it was actually quite a pleasant day, so of course, we went ahead. I’m glad we did, as I am really happy with the photos. I also brought my drone along to stretch its wings with a portrait shoot. The result of that footage is after the photos at the end of this post.
