Remember the days when a portrait session meant standing in front of a backdrop, then staring straight into the camera with a big cheesy smile while huge flashes went off?
Well fortunately we’ve moved on quite a bit since then. Although studio sessions are still available (with those wonderful backdrops, huge flashes and hopefully more genuine smiles), it’s far more natural and comfortable to have a portrait session in a place that is more familiar and neutral from the sometimes sterile atmosphere of a studio.
This place may be a favourite room or deck area of your house, a garden, park, beach, rainforest, in front of an unusual building, jetty – the list is endless. The important thing with photographing people are the people themselves. It’s about the expression, the feeling, the love – the person.
A portrait session is a wonderful bonding and quite intimate experience. When I shoot a portrait session, you’ll have fun, laugh, feel relaxed and come away feeling good about yourself and that you had a great time.

There is one simple option for having your portrait session. It includes having all the high resolution photos on a stylish wooden USB stick. Of course there is the option for you to choose to get an album, prints or a range of other products – but it starts with knowing that you will have a general set of wonderful high resolution images that are yours.
