I think Rachel & Mike were thinking along those lines when they chose me to photograph them having a few moments together. This wasn’t a wedding. It wasn’t about legal documents or people and witnesses. It was just them. Two people who share their life together and decided to choose a day and a few moments to confirm that commitment to each other. They chose Byron Bay and the iconic Lighthouse for this moment. Despite the weather (stormy and wet), and the bustle of people around, the sky settled, the sun came out, people subtly gave them space and magic happened. Here a few photos to share…
